We Are Legion
The top 3 questions about our recently launched website are answered in this new entry.
I earned my bachelor's degree from a university where people can be very unforgiving about grammatical and spelling errors. I can appreciate the effort it takes to resist playing the role of grammar police, so while it would be my preference to leave any spelling debate to the Webster and Cambridge dictionaries, I shall make 2 key points regarding how the word "scalable" is being spelled here:
I wanted to ensure the visibility of the root word "scale", even if only in our domain name. After all, the larger goal here, in all of its clarity, is to scale.
Provided all the right elements are there, Scaleable Empowerment™ (SE for short) has the potential for becoming a Filipino brand. And what's cool about brands like Jollibee or Hapee, is that they get to choose both how they want to be called and how they spell their names in order to be recognizable.
A few common questions have been coming in. Here are the top 3 themes:
Is Scaleable Empowerment™ your company name?
Scaleable Empowerment™ is an idea that currently finds its most sustainable form as an intervention program. It is not a company. Not yet anyway.
Who are SE's clients?
It is never easy for any individual to ask for professional intervention. Companies are a lot less anonymous by comparison. And while testimonials equate to some financial value in this digital age, for now I shall allow the intervention results to speak for themselves. Our previous and present clients know who they are. And they all know we are guided by a singular rule- Once a client, always a client.
How many people are involved in SE?
Now this is an excellent question that requires 2 answers:
The first answer - Last year I bought several copies of what is now one of my top 3 favorite books. I kept a copy for myself and gifted a copy each to people I have recently worked with. I believe that at some point in the foreseeable future a number of these extraordinary individuals will play key roles in a team effort to scale SE effectively.
The second answer not only captures both the vision and the inspiration for Scaleable Empowerment™ but is also a lot easier to arrive at.
One only needs to stand in front of the mirror, understand what our fuel is, to ultimately realize that based solely on what our team believes, the answer can actually be found in this blog's very title.
We can all try to run. But we can never truly hide. Valar dohaeris!
