Retire in the Philippines
Filipinos are a talented and resourceful people, but the opportunities for exposure to some technologies and other fields of study are very limited. On top of that, many of our most gifted citizens have moved overseas in search of better lives and opportunities for their families. In the meantime, those who remain in the country have increasing need for newer skills and more advanced knowledge to help them and their employers grow their businesses and consequently, the Philippine economy.
We believe that with the appropriate citizenship, labor, investment and immigration policies and processes, our country can attract talents and experts who will serve as channels of knowledge and technology transfer, neutralizing the effects of brain-drain to some extent.
We have a very good idea of what retirees are looking for in potential retirement destinations. The most beautiful beaches and the friendliest people could only get us so far. There are other considerations such as availability of internationally-accredited healthcare services, as well as opportunities for sustained financial independence well into one's retirement age. Our people stand to benefit from non-Filipino experts and talents a bit more if we could convince them to establish residence here while they are still in their healthy and productive years.
We are positioning to open channels of communication with credible parties outside the Philippines who might be interested to consider the option of retiring in our country. And under favorable circumstances, we believe we will be capable of establishing collaborative relationships with credible individuals and organizations based here in the Philippines.
Responsible Use of Natural Resources
Our country is blessed with abundant natural resources. Compared to some of our regional neighbors, our leaders have not found it necessary to consider tax legislation and other policies to encourage responsible and optimum use of these resources, resulting in either misuse or underutilization.
Environmental protection is not our expertise , nor do we have political influence to advance progressive taxation policies. Our strengths are found more in our access to credible business channels, where we are able to match resources with the most suitable stewards. But we are open to partnering with individuals and organizations that are better-positioned to advance this cause, while we bring our process management perspectives to the table.
We are opening our lines of communication here so that this site may serve as a platform on which parties that share our advocacy can work together under realistically-enforceable policies and processes.
